Indie Chic

 photo BeFunky_DSC05006jpg_zps29c13c08.jpg

Fringes, crochet, aztec prints - I now call myself a boho/indie chic. But I would love to say boho queen as well. Kidding aside. Here's what I wore during our visit in Pinto Art Museum. I will be sharing photos of this loving museum and the unique pieces of our country's talented artists.

I have always been a fan of vintage accessories and the bracelets I was wearing were straight from my grandmother's jewelry box! She has an impeccable taste when it comes to jewelries and clothes. No wonder, I keep on touching her things. Of course, with her permission. ;P

These are three necklaces that I put on together. I just made them because I wanted new accessories to pair with this outfit. The chokers were easy with the help of pliers but the dreamcatcher is a real piece of DIY. With limited resources, it's challenging to make something that is uncommon and not an understatement. Plus, I struggled on how to keep the shells on place. Looking at it, I think I did a good job. What can you say guys? :D

Delicate as Lace and Roses

It was the birthday of my grandmother's friend and her family organized an intimate birthday party for her at Bouganville Resort, Antipolo last Sunday. It was actually a surprise that what she only knew was they would have a family lunch together. Sweet! Same thing as for my family, we're planning to do something for my lola's 70th and since her children are in US, I'm assigned to do all the stuff. That's why September and the coming months will be busy for me but I'm hyped. I mean I just love the job and I couldn't be any happier about the thought of making that day really special and memorable.

I was in the mood for skirt since my dad would be driving for us. I wish I could always have this hassle-free moment wherein I don't have to worry about what to wear or what to bring. I seldom feel comfortable wearing skirts or shorts on days I have to commute so pants and shirt are usuals.

I wore the skirt with this belt, emphasizing a romantic vintage look. I had second thought on which top to wear, wary that another neutral would make the outfit a little lifeless but the nude lace top actually made it more romantic and chic. It's adorable how lace makes someone look sexy while mysterious and conservative.

Lastly, accessories and shoes to match this feminine vintage look. What do you think? If you have time, you can hype it here. :)

Btw, I'm selling the skirt and some of my preloved items. Visit our shop. :D
