Sweather Weather
One way to spice up a black and white outfit is to wear or layer it with different textures like leather, lace and silk. It's an easy way to create a fashion statement while on monochrome or dual tones.
I absolutely love this bralette. The front is very basic but the back details are sexy which adds statement to a white top. It also gives me a tumblr feel. The oversized cardigan is an instant cover-up on the cold rainy days,

Indie Chic
Fringes, crochet, aztec prints - I now call myself a boho/indie chic. But I would love to say boho queen as well. Kidding aside. Here's what I wore during our visit in Pinto Art Museum. I will be sharing photos of this loving museum and the unique pieces of our country's talented artists.
I have always been a fan of vintage accessories and the bracelets I was wearing were straight from my grandmother's jewelry box! She has an impeccable taste when it comes to jewelries and clothes. No wonder, I keep on touching her things. Of course, with her permission. ;P
These are three necklaces that I put on together. I just made them because I wanted new accessories to pair with this outfit. The chokers were easy with the help of pliers but the dreamcatcher is a real piece of DIY. With limited resources, it's challenging to make something that is uncommon and not an understatement. Plus, I struggled on how to keep the shells on place. Looking at it, I think I did a good job. What can you say guys? :D
If you love my photos and would like to see more of this, please watch my recent video on youtube. It's a lookbook vlog of my summer thrifted favorites.

Bohemian
I never missed a single day without strolling on the beach during our vacation in Boracay Island. Do I sound naive if I tell you that it's one of my favorite past time? I did wake up early to watch the sunrise, feeling the cool morning breeze on my skin while walking on soft trails brought by low tide.
The thing is, the sun doesn't rise in the direction where you face the beach. It's the same thing we encountered in Bali. I hadn't realized it until we reached the shore at dawn. It's still a good view though.
Hype this look on lookbook.
I was up for something boho but since I was headed to the beach, I didn't think about wearing layered or long flowy skirt. Instead, I had these crochet shorts and vintage tribal top. Though I am sometimes into trends and have my own fashion inspirations, I still see to it that my choice of style doesn't only compliment my personality but as well as my physical attributes. I do aspire to wear long dresses, layered clothes and oversized hobo tops but for those people who have petite frame like mine, we might want to tone it down.
Meanwhile, my style is bohemian but not to that point of extreme as I wanted to tone it down. Matching crochet shorts with these tribal patterns and accessorizing with bangles and feather headband have made me attained my kind of boho look.
Crochet is a trend for the free-spirited gypsies and when mixed with different prints and right accessories, one could achieve an effortlessly unique boho look.
Aren't these elephants so cute? I have plenty of them in my luggage. Of course not the real ones, silly. I have another top with elephant prints which I will be posting soon. Elephant-lover here. ;D
PS. I already start to fancy vintage pieces and I'm thinking about posting some of my latest finds and maybe make a list of thrift-shopping do and don'ts. Yes? :D

Pristine
Love this look? Hype it on lookbook. :D
What I wore: top from Fam Bam Closet| skirt from Cinta Manila| leopard flats
The skater skirt was already popular during the '80s, the era of funky fashion and its name was inspired by figure skaters as it resembles their skimpy outfits. I'm glad skater skirts have been reinvented and introduced to us now. They're my favorite latest fads and I believe I won't just toss them if they turn out to be just a passing craze. They complement most body types as these create illusions of slimmer waist and longer legs. No doubt why I love them so much! Skater skirts are known to be versatile as you can pair them up with any tops. They're also easy to dress up or down as you can either wear them with heels or flats.
More women and even kids continue to embrace this trend and you may already seen a lot who strutted the streets in these hot skirts. Well, trends are supposed to be everywhere and how you're going to wear them without vanishing into the crowd is what makes fashion more challenging and fun. It is what makes your style.
How about you guys? How do you wear your skater skirt?
